Die LSMU in Kaunas ist eine der drei Universit'ten im Fachbereich der Medizin Litauens. Kauno Klinikos, das Ärztliche Lehrkrankenhaus, zählt als das größte Krankenhaus Litauens. Die Stadt Kaunas hat eine lange Geschichte und ist auch heute noch beliebt, so wurde sie 2022 zur Kultur Hauptstadt ernannt und einige Filme und Serien werden auch vor Ort gedreht. Darunter bekannt ist die Serie "Chernobyl", welche sogar in der Klinik gedreht wurde!
